HUTCHINSON, Minn., Dec. 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hutchinson Technology Incorporated (Nasdaq:HTCH) announced today that it has appointed Connie Pautz to vice president of human resources. In this position, Pautz will be responsible for strategy and delivery of all human resources activities as well as corporate communications.
Pautz joined Hutchinson Technology in 1984 and has held a variety of management positions, including staffing manager, compensation and benefits manager, human resources manager and communications manager. She was promoted to director of corporate communications in 2001. In May of 2009, she took on an expanded role as director of human resources and communications.

Pautz holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
