Grape Crush Report for 2009 is a critical barometer for the wine
and grape industry, containing prices and tons of wine grapes
crushed during the 2009 harvest. The Crush Report gives growers
and wineries insight into the inventory position for the
California wine business as a whole and influences market
dynamics for the upcoming 2010 harvest.
WHEN: CDFA is scheduled to release the Grape Crush Report at Noon,
Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
ANALYSIS: The report is likely to show that the 2009 wine grape crop was
the second largest in California history. This is great news for
consumers, who can expect an abundance of high quality wines from
across the state's growing regions. Value-priced brand owners are
also happy because they need increasing volumes of most varieties
