GN Store Nord's EBITA for 2009 from ongoing operations will be better than guided, however, legacy-related issues in GN Netcom will negatively impact EBITA by DKK 85 million

GN Store Nord's EBITA from ongoing operations for Q4 2009 and thereby also for
the full year 2009 will be better than previously guided. GN has previously
guided an EBITA of “around DKK 65 million”. 

However, GN Netcom has identified certain legacy-related issues and has
accordingly decided to make a DKK 85 million provision for defense and
potential settlement costs. The provision will negatively impact the GN Store
Nord EBITA for 2009 by DKK 85 million. 

One of the issues identified is related to possible fraudulent actions
committed by an employee. The employee has now been terminated and all
appropriate legal actions have been initiated. 

Due to the nature of the legacy issues, GN cannot comment any further at this
point in time. 

GN will announce its Annual Report for 2009 and guidance for 2010 on February
24, 2010.
