Wilshire Bancorp to Participate in FIG Partners' West Coast Bank CEO Forum


LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:WIBC), the holding company for Wilshire State Bank, today announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer Joanne Kim will participate in a panel discussion at the FIG Partners' First Annual West Coast Bank CEO Forum on Thursday, February 18 in San Francisco.

The panelists, CEOs from leading banks in the Western states, will discuss significant issues currently affecting the banking industry and their customers. Ms. Kim will be part of a three-CEO panel focused on ethnic banking. The discussions will be coupled with one-on-one meetings with investment managers, industry analysts, other specialists and professionals.

The Forum will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, starting at 9:10 a.m.
