Brightpoint, Inc. Announces Approval for Foreign Trade Zone Status


INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America, L.P. ("Brightpoint") received final approval and Grant of Authority for Subzone Status from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Foreign Trade Zone Board (Order No. 1665) in regards to its application for cell phone kitting and distribution from its Plainfield, Ind. facilities.
