VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq:LBIXD), North America's only fully integrated healthy branded beverage company, announces that Jon Merriman has retired as a director of the Company. Mr. Merriman has retired for personal reasons, not as a result of any disagreement with the management or the board of directors of the Company.
