SSH and Santa Monica Networks bring mobility to authentication solutions for
enterprise customers

SSH Communications Security (HEL:SSH1V), the market maker in real-time security
software for modern, networked organizations, today announced a new partnership
agreement with Santa Monica Networks, a Finnish provider of demanding data
network solutions. The agreement allows Santa Monica Networks to offer the
convenience of Tectia MobileID as a new authentication solution to their
enterprise customers.
Tectia MobileID is an authentication solution that provides one-time passwords
to users' mobile phones during the login procedure. This SMS authentication
method can be used to replace hardware authentication tokens, making the process
easier and more convenient, especially for users on the move.

solutions. It is a perfect fit for those customers whose end-users are often on
the road, for example traveling on business or working from home, and who need
a secure yet easy way to log in to the company network,” said Kai Vuokko, the

solution for Stockmann, a major Finnish department store chain. Tectia MobileID
helps international companies like Stockmann to reduce the costs of delivering
and coordinating authentication devices. Tectia MobileID facilitates the
maintenance of authentication and also enables secure remote work.
