Integral Consulting Opens New England Office Specializing in Risk Assessment and Litigation Support Services


PORTLAND, Maine, March 4, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Consulting Inc. announces the opening of a new office in Portland, Maine, expanding its environmental and health services to the New England region of the United States. The new office is located at 45 Exchange Street, Suite 200, Portland, Maine 04101. 

Noted toxicologist Dr. Russell Keenan recently joined Integral to launch the new office, which will initially focus on human health and ecological risk assessment, air quality, and litigation support services for clients in New England and across the country.  In establishing the new office, Integral welcomes Dr. John Samuelian, Mr. Patrick Gwinn, Ms. Jane Hamblen, and Ms. Elizabeth Rand to its environmental and health staff. All have top notch reputations and considerable experience in risk assessment services that have helped clients evaluate fate and transport, exposure, and risks from PCBs, mercury, dioxins, furans, arsenic, lead, chlorinated organics, pesticides, and other environmental contaminants.

Dr. John Samuelian brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting. His skills include environmental and analytical chemistry, database development and management, human and ecological risk assessments, probabilistic risk evaluations, and remedial alternatives evaluation. He has provided expert testimony on exposure issues in state and federal courts.

Mr. Patrick Gwinn has more than 20 years of experience managing and conducting air quality modeling projects, human health and ecological risk assessments, site assessments, and remedial investigations for municipalities and the manufacturing and chemical industries.  He has also been a designated expert and provided technical support on several litigation matters. 

Ms. Jane Hamblen, with 28 years of experience, has skills in risk assessment, environmental health, and biology. Her expertise is in exposure assessment—specializing in both deterministic and probabilistic analyses.  In addition, she has managed toxic tort cases and worked in the area of regulatory compliance for worker and community right-to-know legislation.

Ms. Elizabeth Rand has more than 10 years of experience in environmental toxicology and risk assessment. She has provided technical and project management support on human and ecological health risk assessments, critiques of state and federal agency-proposed environmental regulations, and preparation of testimony and rebuttals in support of environmental litigation.
