Primoris Services Corporation Names R. Steve Lewis Senior Vice President, Government Contracting Services


LAKE FOREST, Calif., March 9, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Primoris Services Corporation (Nasdaq:PRIM) (Nasdaq:PRIMU) (Nasdaq:PRIMW) ("Primoris" or "Company"), one of the largest specialty contractors and engineering companies in the United States, today announced that R. Steve Lewis has been named to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Government Contracting Services. In his new role, Mr. Lewis will be responsible for opening new construction markets focused primarily in the government sector, including the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Corps of Engineers, and the Bureau of Reclamation. 

Mr. Lewis brings more than 30 years of experience in all facets of management, operations, estimating, and business development for diverse services general construction and design-build companies. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lewis has successfully completed projects with an aggregate construction value in excess of $2 billion for both private and public sector clients. Representative projects include highway and waterway construction, multi-function professional office towers, military housing and operations, research and hospital buildings, and airport runway construction.       

Mr. Lewis joins Primoris from Tutor-Saliba Corporation, an industry-leading contracting and construction firm, where he served as Vice President of Special Projects from 1997 through 2009. His tenure at Tutor-Saliba included serving as Executive Vice President of E.E. Black, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary specializing in commercial and military construction throughout Asia and the Pacific. From 1973-1997, Mr. Lewis held positions of increasing responsibility at Sundt Corporation, one of the country's largest general contractors, including managing the operations of the firm's Heavy Construction Group and serving as a member of the board of directors. Mr. Lewis received his B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona. His professional memberships include Past President and Director of the Associated General Contractors of America (Arizona chapter) and Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (Philippines).
