(Nasdaq:EEI) has announced the formation of Lowham Walsh, LLC as the latest development in the expansion of E & E's consulting services in the western United States. Together with its subsidiary Walsh Environmental Scientists & Engineers, LLC, E & E has expanded its capacity to address energy development and environmental needs in Rocky Mountain and Northern Great Plains states through an increased presence in these regions.
Lowham Walsh offers the combined services of Walsh and the former Lowham Engineering, LLC, with special expertise in applied hydrologic science, environmental, and engineering analyses. The firm operates from offices in Lander and Gillette, Wyoming.
E & E also recently increased its ownership stake in its Walsh subsidiary from fifty-eight (58) percent to seventy-six (76) percent. From Walsh's six office locations in Colorado, it provides environmental services to the oil and gas, mining, and renewable energy industries. E & E and Walsh work closely together to address complex environmental issues in the United States and in growing Latin American operations.
These moves, together with E & E's recent opening of an office in Salt Lake City, Utah, further enhance the company's ability to provide a wide range of multidisciplinary services to the region.
