MOBILE, Ala., March 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (Pink Sheets:TZPC), the maker of patented, innovative refrigerant products designed for use in the commercial shipment of perishables and for use as a consumer compress and chiller product, today announced further distribution reach with the signing of three additional major retailers that will carry the Company's product line.
Last week, the Company announced two sizable retailers that have begun to receive shipments: the Piggly Wiggly chain of grocery stores, with over 750 stores servicing communities in 18 states throughout the Southern and Midwestern regions of the United States, and the large Hy-Vee supermarket chain, with over 220 retail stores in the Midwest. Today, the Company announced the addition of Giant Eagle, another large Midwest chain with 223 retail stores, Giant-Carlisle, with more than 150 stores serving the Mid-Atlantic region and finally, Harmon Supermarket, a Utah-based, medium-sized retailer.
