Initial France Gains Visibility Across its Supply Chain With Manhattan Associates

Manhattan WMS Complements Initial's ERP System to Provide Complete Inventory Visibility and Tracking Capabilities

PARIS and ATLANTA, March 24, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global supply chain optimization provider Manhattan Associates (Nasdaq:MANH) today announced that Initial France, the French subsidiary of Initial, one of the world's leading offices and facilities services organisations, has successfully implemented Manhattan's Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) at its central distribution center (DC) in Gravigny, near Evreux, in France. With the help of Manhattan's Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) tool, Initial has also successfully integrated the WMS with its existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, enabling Initial to provide its service centers throughout France with reliable and accurate supply chain and enterprise level data for the first time.

"With the strong growth the business had been experiencing and to maintain this momentum going forwards, we needed clear and comprehensive visibility on all inventory flows – specifically the capacity to track goods in real time, all the time - so that our 60 service centers could be constantly updated on the status of orders up and down the supply chain," said Laurent Moulay, Textile Purchasing & Logistics director at Initial France.
