Strategic Mining Recently Acquires Interest in US Gold Mining Property


CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Strategic Mining Corporation (Pink Sheets:SMNG) announced today that the company has recently acquired a 75% interest in a US gold mining property. The East Canyon property is located in Nevada and Utah.

Hassan Alief, geological consultant to the company, has been commissioned to prepare a geological report on the gold property. He will review geochemical and field reports from historic and recent exploration to evaluate the property and write the report.

The addition of the East Canyon gold property to the company's mining portfolio will strengthen its overall position. With good exploration results, future gold production is possible."
