Axel Springer sells software -unit of StepStone ASA to HgCapital LLP

Axel Springer AG has sold the 'Solutions' business unit of its subsidiary
StepStone ASA, Oslo, to the financial investor HgCapital LLP. HgCapital LLP
with its headquarters in London will take over the supplier of talent
managment software solutions for a purchase price of EUR 110 million. The
online job board StepStone, one of the leading internet based job markets
in Europe, remains with Axel Springer and strengthens the digital
positioning of the enterprise in the core area of online classified
advertising. In financial year 2009, StepStone ASA generated revenues of
EUR 100.1 million, half of which were attributable to the 'Solutions'
business unit.

The consummation of the transaction is subject to receipt of the required
approval by antitrust authorities and other customary closing conditions.
