Olympic Steel, Inc. Announces Management Changes


CLEVELAND, March 29, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Olympic Steel, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZEUS) today announced the following management changes.

Richard A. Manson has been promoted to the newly formed position of Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Mr. Manson has been employed with Olympic Steel since 1996, serving as the Company's Director of Taxes and Risk Management, and most recently as Treasurer and Corporate Controller, positions he has held since 2003. Prior to joining Olympic Steel, Mr. Manson was a tax manager with a public accounting firm. Rich received his B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting from John Carroll University.

Richard T. Marabito, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, will assume the additional responsibilities of Treasurer, and the Company has promoted Lisa Christen to the position of Corporate Controller. Lisa joined Olympic Steel in 1999, and has held positions of increasing responsibilities in the Corporate Accounting Department, most recently serving as Assistant Corporate Controller. She received both her B.B.A. degree, with a major in Accounting, and her M.B.A. from Kent State University.
