Sales in March


Baltika's consolidated retail sales revenue for March 2010 totalled 52.5 million
kroons.                                                                         
Retail sales in March, compared to a year ago, clearly show the continued       
improvement we have experienced in the business in the last five months: sales  
for November were -32%, December -26%, January -22% and February -20%, March    
-16%.In Estonia (our biggest Market by revenue) sales in the last two month were
level with the same period in 2009. The retail sales in Russia increased by 2%  
in March compared to the same period in last year.                              
In the month of March, retail sales decreased by 13% in Eastern Europe, 15% in  
Baltic and 16% in Poland.                                                       

Baltika's consolidated revenue for March totalled 58.0 million kroons and       
decreased by 15%.

In the month of March, Wholesale revenue decreased by 9%. The decline in        
wholesale revenue is largely attributable to developments in the Russian market 
where a wholesale partner's seven stores were taken over and integrated into    
Baltika's retail system in May 2009.                                            

Consolidated sales revenue for the first three months totalled 173 million      
kroons (-22% yoy), including retail revenues of 156 million kroons (-20%) and   
wholesale revenues of 16 million kroons (-41%).                                 

One store was opened in Latvia in March. The number of stores amounted to 131 at
the end of the month (133 stores at the end of March 2009).

Starting from April 2010 AS Baltika reports quarterly sales instead of monthly
