AB Volvo publishes 2009 Sustainability Report 

Today, AB Volvo published its Sustainability Report for 2009. This year's report
is entirely web based.

The Sustainability Report outlines the Volvo Group's work related to the
financial, social and environmental development of its operations and its
contribution to society. In addition, the report describes how the Volvo Group
organizes its work and future goals and presents key figures for the operations.
The report is also an important platform for dialogs with customers, suppliers,
investors, employees and other stakeholders. 

From a sustainability perspective, the most significant events in the Volvo
Group in 2009 were: 

The Group's continued work in the areas of alternative drivelines and hybrid
solutions and cooperation in switching to CO2-neutral transports.

The Group's adaptation to the financial crisis, which impacted the automotive
industry as well as the Group's employees.

The launch of updated ethical requirements for the Volvo Group's suppliers and
the Group's internal anti-corruption program.
