FCIA Showcases Fibre Channel Leadership at Storage Networking World With 8GFC and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) Demonstrations

ORLANDO, Fla., April 12, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (Storage Networking World) -- The Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA) today announced that it will exhibit demonstrations around 8GFC (Gigabit Fibre Channel) and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). Demonstrations will take place in booth #307 at Storage Networking World (SNW), April 12 - 15, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The FCIA will showcase the synergy between 8GFC and FCoE technology in the data center. This demonstration brings together 12 leading companies including Amphenol, Broadcom, Brocade, Cisco, Emulex, HP, Intel, LSI, Molex, NetApp, PMC-Sierra and QLogic.
