2010 First Quarter Results and Conference Call Monday 19 April 2010


Metro International S.A. ("Metro" or "the Company"), the international newspaper
group,  will announce  on Monday  19 April 2010 at  8:00 A.M. CET  its financial
results  for  the  first  quarter  ended  31 March 2010. The Company will host a
conference call to present these results at 10:00 A.M. CET on the same day which
will be broadcast live on the Internet and as a conference call.

Hosts  from the  Company for  this conference  call will  be Per  Mikael Jensen,
President and CEO, and Anders Kronborg, CFO.
