Eva Rydén appointed Director Group Legal Affairs at Boliden

Eva Rydén has been appointed Director Group Legal Affairs at Boliden. Eva will
take up her position at Boliden after the summer of 2010 and report to Lennart
Evrell, President and CEO.

Eva Rydén's most recent position is that of Group Legal Counsel for Intrum
Justitia since 2005 where she is a member of the Extended Management Team and a
secretary of the Board of Directors. Prior to that, she was an associate of the
Business Law Firm Mannheimer Swartling for seven years. Eva had studied at the
School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg. 

Eva Rydén succeeds Marianne Lindholm, Senior Vice President, Group Legal
Affairs, who is retiring in accordance with her retirement plan at the age of
60. After her retirement Marianne Lindholm will continue to work for Boliden in
special projects on a consultancy basis.
