Black Dragon Resource Companies, Inc. Releases Initial Production Numbers for Humble EOR Project

OIL CITY, La., April 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Black Dragon Resource Companies, Inc.'s ("the Company", "Dragon") (Pink Sheets:BDGR) Chairman and CEO, Mr. Scott D. Smith, is pleased to announce today that the initial two productive wells on the Humble Lease are producing 15 barrels per day (BOPD). By the project's petroleum engineer and geologist's estimates, these wells will be capable of producing 50+barrels of oil per day (BOPD) each once the steam injection EOR project commences. We intend to announce our progress on the second two wells in the coming days. Mr. Smith stated, "We are very excited at the progress that has been achieved at the Humble Lease in recent days. The addition of these producing wells should greatly enhance the value of our PV-10 reserve study which is currently nearing completion."

Black Dragon is an oil and gas exploration and production company currently focused on the acquisition of mature, producing and existing domestic oil and gas fields. This focus has eliminated exploration risk, reduced costs of completion, and provided rapid generation of income in a niche market where larger independent and major oil companies are not positioned to compete. Black Dragon intends to recomplete additional shallow producing wells and to expand its focus to include drilling of new wells, some to deeper levels, and to purchase additional leases.
