Hemköp serves notice for 14 positions at head offices

Hemköpskedjan AB has served redundancy notices to 14 employees at its support
offices in Solna. The chain has decreased the number of stores and needs to
adapt its overhead costs. The measure is in line with the previously
communicated action plan for Hemköp.

Co-determination negotiations will be initiated with the union and are expected
to be completed before summer.

Axfood AB conducts food retail and wholesale business in Sweden. Retail business
is conducted through the wholly owned store chains Willys, Hemköp and PrisXtra,
comprising 225 stores in all. In addition, Axfood collaborates with a number of

Johnson AB is the principal owner, with approximately 46% of the shares.
