City National Bank Hires Jacqueline Kiser-Parker as Vice President and Senior Private Banker in Its Private Client Services Division in Nevada


LAS VEGAS, April 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that it has hired Jacqueline Parker as vice president and senior private banker in its Private Client Services Division in Nevada. Parker will have offices at the bank's Summerlin Regional Center at 10801 W. Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas and at 6490 So. McCarran Blvd., Suite 31, in Reno. Parker, who is a well-known banking professional in both southern and northern Nevada, joins City National with more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry.

In her new capacity, Parker will be responsible for relationship and risk management, client retention and business development of high net worth individuals and professional services firms. She will work very closely with other areas of the bank, such as the branches and lending areas, to help grow the client base of Private Client Services and Wealth Management in Nevada. Parker will report to Randy Boesch, senior vice president and manager of City National's Nevada Private Client Services Division.

Prior to joining City National, Parker served as executive vice president and private banking director for Colonial Bank in Las Vegas. During her tenure with Colonial Bank, Parker also served as executive vice president area administrator, senior vice president in Branch Administration, and as vice president in Loan Administration. Parker began her banking career with Valley Bank of Nevada in 1982.

Parker attended the Community College of Southern Nevada, where she studied a variety of business courses. She is a graduate of Texas A&M Bank Operations, American Bankers Association School of Compliance, and has completed a number of financial and management courses through the American Institute of Banking (AIB).

Parker's professional credentials include Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Series 6, 7, 63 & 66 license training. She also has her Nevada Life and Health Insurance license, along with her Cannon Wealth Strategist certification.

Parker has been actively involved in the community serving as a member of various trade groups and community organizations. She has served as an executive board of director for the Women's Chamber of Commerce and member for the Las Vegas Central Rotary Club.

Parker has also been very involved in philanthropic work in Nevada, serving as a board member of the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, Step 2 Program in Reno, and member of the Reno Rodeo Association. Her community involvement also includes taking part in Toastmasters through the Chamber Voices, the Teach Children to Save Day and Take Charge Program for high school students through the American Bankers Association.
