Tele2 wins mobile license in 2.6 GHz auction in the Netherlands


Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B),
announced today that Tele2 Netherlands has been awarded a mobile license of 2 x
20 Mhz in the 2.6 GHz frequency band for approximately SEK 4 million.

This frequency is specifically suited for next generation mobile internet (LTE).
Tele2 considers the license as an 'entry ticket' into its mobile future in the
Netherlands.

The awarded license makes it possible for Tele2 to continue offering price
leading and innovative products both for residential and business customers.
