Henry Ruhnke Jr. Joins 1st Capital Bank's Board of Directors


MONTEREY, Calif., April 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- President and CEO, C. Frederick Rowden has announced the appointment of Henry Ruhnke Jr. to the 1st Capital Bank (OTCBB:FISB) Board of Directors.

"His business leadership and community involvement will be a positive contribution to 1st Capital Bank's Board of Directors and the Bank's philosophy in supporting our community," said Mr. Rowden.

Mr. Henry Ruhnke is a registered architect and a principal of Wald, Ruhnke & Dost Architects, LLP, founded in 1990. He has extensive experience in design, project management and construction administration, and has worked on a variety of educational, industrial, commercial, residential and governmental projects across the Central Coast.

Mr. Ruhnke has served on the Monterey Planning Commission, the Monterey Community Contractor Committee, and the Monterey Architectural Review Committee. He is a former Board Member of the American Institute of Architects Monterey Bay, graduate of Leadership Monterey and is a member of the Rotary Club of Monterey.

Mr. Ruhnke earned Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from California Polytechnic State University.

Mr. Ruhnke is filling the vacancy recently created by the retirement of founding Board Member Al Glover. Mr. Glover was instrumental in the opening of the Bank and the Bank wishes him the best in his retirement.
