Cabot(R) Creamery Cooperative Wins Energy Project Award for EnerNOC DemandSMART Deployment

BOSTON, April 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EnerNOC, Inc. (Nasdaq:ENOC), a leading provider of clean and intelligent energy management applications and services, today announced that Cabot Creamery Cooperative, an EnerNOC customer, was honored with a 2009 Energy Project Award by the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. EnerNOC nominated Cabot Creamery in recognition of its efforts in energy management, particularly during times of peak demand. Cabot Creamery currently contributes more than two megawatts of demand response capacity through EnerNOC's comprehensive demand response application, DemandSMART™.

"Cabot Creamery is one of our most forward-thinking customers, consistently taking a comprehensive look at sustainability and understanding that better energy management often translates into better financial results," said Gregg Dixon, Senior Vice President of Marketing. "We're excited that Cabot has been recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers for their efforts."

Cabot Creamery Cooperative has been an EnerNOC customer since 2007, reducing electrical consumption during times of peak demand in return for regular payments from EnerNOC. To further drive energy efficiency measures, Cabot Creamery also uses EnerNOC's online DemandSMART application to gain visibility into their real-time energy data and help them identify additional energy savings opportunities.

The Energy Project Awards recognize projects that push the envelope in engineering, creativity, and/or comprehensiveness. Recipients of Energy Project Awards were honored on April 20, 2010 at an awards ceremony in Cromwell, CT.
