Trico Marine Group Appoints New Officers


THE WOODLANDS, Texas, April 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trico Marine Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:TRMA) (the "Company" or "Trico") today announced the appointment of two new officers of the Company: Sue Kean as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, and Jeff Favret as Chief Accounting Officer.

Ms. Kean joins the Company with 29 years' legal experience in the energy services and marine industries. For the last  5½ years, Ms. Kean served as VP,  Deputy General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer for Exterran Holdings, a global market leader in  full service natural gas compression and a premier provider of operations, maintenance, service and equipment for oil and natural gas production, processing and transportation applications. Prior to Exterran, Ms. Kean served as Senior VP & General Counsel for First Wave Marine, a provider of shipyard related services for offshore rigs and vessels in the offshore and inland marine industries.  Ms. Kean was a partner in the corporate law group with Griggs & Harrison, P.C. prior to her time as in-house counsel. 

Mr. Favret joined the Company on April 16, 2010 with over 25 years of accounting experience, including 14 years in public accounting, serving clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail and consumer products, gaming, health care, construction, energy, and energy services.  Over the last eight years with Ernst & Young, LLP and Postlethwaite & Netterville, APIC, his concentrated focus has been on clients in the energy, oilfield services, manufacturing, and construction industries. Jeff's experience in the energy and oilfield services industries includes:  oil and gas exploration and production, vessel construction, offshore drilling related construction, seismic services, offshore vessel fuel distribution, offshore vessel / marine transportation, and crude oil and petrochemical refining.  Mr. Favret  has participated in several international energy and construction client audit engagements over the last eight years.
