Omnitek Engineering Files Form 10 With Securities and Exchange Commission

Company Seeks to Increase Visibility and Enhance Shareholder Value


SAN MARCOS, Calif., April 29, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Omnitek Engineering Corporation (Other OTC:OMTK) today announced it has filed a Form 10 registration statement with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to become a reporting company under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, which will be effective as of June 28, 2010. As a reporting company, Omnitek Engineering Corp. will be required to file annual reports on Form 10-K, quarterly reports on Form 10-Q, and current reports on Form 8-K.
