LIGATT Security and Search-Caribbean.com Host First Annual Caribbean Cyber Security Seminar and Workshop

CEO Gregory Evans Will Introduce Ways to Safeguard Public and Private Sectors From Computer Crimes

ATLANTA, May 3, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LIGATT Security International (Pink Sheets:LGTT), a cyber security company, today announced that the company, in conjunction with Search-Caribbean.com, will host their first annual Caribbean Cyber Security Seminar and Workshop entitled, A Millennium Without Fear. The seminar and workshop will be held on July 29-30, 2010 at the Errol Barrow Center for Creative Imagination, Cave Hill Campus Barbados, University of The West Indies.

"After meeting with key decision makers in the government and the private sector, there was one commonality that was identified," says Rodney Ollivierre, Government Consultant. "All areas of our economy would love to move into more ecommerce, but the fear of hacking cripples those efforts. By using their unique expertise and wide variety of services, I believe that LIGATT Security International is the perfect vessel to help move us into this new age E-Commerce."

Currently a host of government officials, law enforcement agents, banking institutions, and business owners have already confirmed their participation. The two day seminar and workshop will include educational sessions on topics such as, No More Fear for E-Commerce, Identity Theft, Password Cracking and Recovery, and Computer Crime Investigation. The workshop session will include topics and demonstrations on How to Protect Wireless Networks, Computer Forensics, and Computer Security Audits Penetration Testing.

The Caribbean is indeed catching up with the rest of the world as they seek to move to technological business practices, especially computer technology. This presents a number of challenges relevant to the protection of sensitive information. Breaches have been discovered in their banking system and ministries to name a few areas of concern. It is to this end that Search-Caribbean.com, in association with CMI Caribbean Ltd, presents an educational seminar & workshop discussing moving to E-Commerce without the fear of computer hacking.

"At the conclusion of this conference, we will provide Barbados with the knowledge and support that will help properly safeguard their wireless networks from computer crimes and make their country more competitive with the rest of the world," says Kendric Embree, Director of Business Development.

Gregory Evans is a world expert in the field of Cyber Security, and the featured facilitator for this event. Evans has guided the company to spectacular growth. The company has currently conducted more security penetration tests -- designed to evaluate the effectiveness of a business information system's defense against intrusion by hackers -- than any company in the USA.

LSI is the nation's premier hi-tech security company and recognized as a leader in computer security and cyber-crime investigation. It is a publicly traded company whose mission is to be the nation's leading provider of hi-tech crime investigations, by protecting their clients against Black Hat Hacking one CPU at a time.

"We are excited about this opportunity to assist Search-Caribbean.com and Barbados in the advancement of their economy," says Evans. "The informative seminar and workshop I will be participating in will educate attendees on cyber security countermeasures, needed to help protect Barbados' confidential information from outside vulnerabilities."
