SmartMoney Names Diller as Publisher


NEW YORK, May 4, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SmartMoney, the personal finance magazine from The Wall Street Journal, has named Ed Diller as publisher. In this role, he will oversee all print advertising sales for the publication, working directly with the integrated Wall Street Journal sales team.

Mr. Diller currently serves as multi-media sales director for The Wall Street Journal in San Francisco. He joined Dow Jones in 2003 as an account executive and previously served in advertising sales roles with CBS MarketWatch, prior to the Dow Jones acquisition, Lycos and AOL. Mr. Diller graduated from the University of California at Davis with a degree in political science.

Mr. Diller will relocate to New York to begin his new role on July 1.
