TECHNOPOLIS PRESS RELEASE MAY 5, 2010, AT 12:00 NOON TECHNOPOLIS EXPANDING AT HERMIA, TAMPERE Technopolis has purchased 3,237 m2 of facilities from Senaatti Oy in a property at Kiinteistö Oy Hermia. With this transaction, Technopolis' direct holding of the property increases to more than 50%. Satu Eskelinen, Director of Technopolis Tampere, is satisfied with the deal: “The Technopolis Hermia campus continues to be very attractive for knowledge-based companies, and we also want to be involved in further development of this center. This transaction will give us a stronger foundation for active development work. In the past two years, we have also completed two totally new facilities in the campus with of a total of 9,742 m2.” The campus is a nationally significant center of for sophisticated research and expertise in ICT mechanical engineering, automation, and laser technology. “Technopolis centers provide versatile services that enable companies to focus strongly on their core business.
