TIIMARI GROUP'S NET SALES IN APRIL 2010 (preliminary)
Tiimari Group's comparable accumulated sales at the end of April are up by
3.4 %. Due to the Easter holidays and one day of striking by Finnish shops,
April sales declined by 6 % compared to last year. The April sales of the
active markets amounted to EUR 5.6 million (5.9). The comparable Easter
period sales increased slightly compared to last year and Tiimari's sales
in Finland in the week coming up to 1st May increased by nearly 20 % compared
to last year.
The figures for the segments and geographical markets have been made comparable
by moving the countries where the Company has withdrawn from or is withdrawing
from (Tiimari Sweden, Russia, Norway and Poland as well as Fröken Väs and
Gallerix Finland) to be presented separately.
