Brightpoint and RIM Expand Distribution of BlackBerry(R) Products in Australia

BlackBerry(R) Bold(TM) 9700, BlackBerry(R) Curve(TM) 8520 and BlackBerry(R) Enterprise Server are Now Available Through Brightpoint's Nationwide Channels


INDIANAPOLIS, May 12, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) (Brightpoint) and Research In Motion Limited (Nasdaq:RIMM) (RIM) today expanded the distribution of BlackBerry® smartphones and software in Australia. Brightpoint will assist in the national distribution of BlackBerry products through Brightpoint's expansive B2B and B2C distribution network.

Supported smartphones include the very latest models – the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 and BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 – as well as a range of BlackBerry accessories. Brightpoint will also distribute BlackBerry software including BlackBerry® Enterprise Server and user licenses.
