Net Insight strengthens its position in live sports transmissions by delivering video services to a media operator in Europe

Stockholm, Sweden - Net Insight, a leading developer of efficient and scalable

orders from a European media operator for video and data services in their
contribution networks.


A European media operator has deployed a contribution network for live sport
transmission based on Net Insight's Nimbra platform. As a result of the
successful first phase implementation the European media operator has given the
confidence to Net Insight to expand their existing Nimbra network to carry
uncompressed video feeds from venues in a European football league. Furthermore,
Net Insight has also been selected to deliver equipment for video and data
services to the same customer for a new contribution network.

The Nimbra platform is a well-proven solution for demanding contribution network
responsible for transporting live sport footage from many professional sports
venues across the globe, as well as major events such as Vancouver 2010 Olympic
Winter Games and the coming 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
