NovaCast signs cooperation agreement with Moderna Verktyg and builds “Tool
alliance”. Cooperation broadens market for Camito dies.

NovaCast's and Moderna Verktyg's mutual industrial offer includes complete dies
for production of sheet metal, plastic and aluminium details for car body parts.
Thanks to this mutual offer the “Alliance” can act as a large supplier, among
others to the automotive industry, which strives to further reduce the number of
its suppliers.
The companies' current total annual capacity is approximately 150 MSEK but this
volume can increase considerably through the agreement. The agreement will give
NovaCast access to Moderna Verktyg's established production channels in China
and Moderna Verktyg will gain access to NovaCast's sales organization in
Germany.

Moderna Verktyg in Söderköping is one of Sweden's leading suppliers of tools for
production of plastic details to the automotive industry. A large part of these
tools is produced in China and currently four cooperation agreements are signed
with Chinese sub-contractors. Customers are mainly Swedish automotive companies
and their sub-contractors, e.g. Volvo Cars, Saab and Finnveden.
