ActionView International, Inc. Announces Charitable Causes Supported at June 5th WCFC Event

The Road Home and Fight For What's Right Organizations Will Receive a Percentage of Ticket Proceeds

MURRIETA, Calif., May 24, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) and its wholly owned MatchFights LLC subsidiary today announced that the World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) organization will support two very worthy charitable organizations at its upcoming live event scheduled for June 5, 2010 at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City. The Road Home and Fight For What's Right will receive a percentage of ticket proceeds from the June 5th event.

ActionView International's wholly-owned MatchFights subsidiary delivers the most exciting brand of full contact fighting under its World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) banner. MatchFights' events are broadcast live in television quality to a worldwide audience over the Internet, and revenue is derived from pay-per-view buys.  The brand's inaugural April 3rd event, which featured eight bouts and fighters ranging from flyweight to light heavyweight classifications, was considered a stunning success with a packed house watching quality bouts from top to bottom on the fight card.  The WCFC Internet broadcast marked the first time that a live Internet event was broadcast worldwide in television quality without a satellite uplink.

The Road Home is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing assistance to people who are homeless in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. Originally established in 1923 to assist stranded travelers, The Road Home has grown to address a spectrum of needs encountered by people experiencing homelessness including emergency assistance, shelter, case management and housing. Its mission is to help people step out of homelessness and back into the community through emergency services, personalized case management and collaboration with additional resources. The Road Home, which operates the largest shelter in the state of Utah, has seen an unprecedented increase in the number of families experiencing homelessness. During fiscal year 2009, the number of families The Road Home served was up 79% percent compared to FY 2007. Its Salt Lake Community Shelter houses over 600 individuals nightly and more than 3,000 individuals annually. For many, it is the only place they can go to get off the street and away from danger.  Case managers work side by side with those who have turned to us for help to help them establish goals and develop a plan to return to housing in the shortest time possible. With the help of a case manager, people are able to secure an income and connect with resources to assist with employment, budgeting, and an array of other challenges, such as mental illness. It tailors its case management services to fit the needs of each person with whom it works. The Shelter operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and coordinates closely with its Housing Program. During the last fiscal year, it provided 220,434 shelter nights to 3,064 people at the Salt Lake Community Shelter, including 1,815 single men, 376 single women and 144 families consisting of 195 children and 191 adults. More information on The Road Home can be found at www.theroadhome.org.

Fight For What's Right is a charity initiative aimed at changing false perceptions of MMA athletes and fans while making a positive difference in this world. Money donated to Fight For What's Right will go toward the completion of a mission project in Zambia known as City of Joy. Sean O'Connell, MMA fighter and Vice President of WCFC sponsor Against The Fence apparel company, spent six months in 2009 living and working at City of Joy. Once completed, the project will house and educate between 50 and 100 girls and young women who have been removed from abusive homes. In a place where young girls and women are secondhand citizens, the opportunities offered by City of Joy are truly life-saving. In Utah, proceeds will be donated to South Valley Sanctuary, a state-run safe house that provides families with an escape from abusive situations. FFWR will also accept toys, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, and shoes to be donated to the Sanctuary. Mr. O'Connell was featured in a Deseret News article on April 5, 2010, which chronicles his commitment to Fight For What's Right.

"The Road Home and Fight For What's Right are two very worthy charitable organizations, and I am proud that the WFCF is using its June 5th event to support them, both in spirit and with the donation of a percentage of ticket proceeds," said ActionView International Chairman Gary Nerison.   "The WCFC puts its money where its mouth is when it comes to the support of charitable causes, and as the founder and president of a charitable foundation myself, I could not be more pleased that WCFC has made this commitment."

Fight fans, fighters, promoters, trainers and ring girls are encouraged to visit the WCFC website at www.wcfc.com to set up a personal profile and join the first and only comprehensive content driven MMA web community dedicated to fighting.
