FireIce Begins to Make Impact on Long Island, NY

JUPITER, Fla., June 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GelTech Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:GLTC) today announced that its revolutionary fire suppressant FireIce is beginning to make traction with Long Island Fire Departments after recent demonstrations.

The Northeast distributor of FireIce, Green Earth Technology Solutions, has been working with several Long Island Fire Departments over the past months assisting with the product evaluation, garnering very positive results. Green Earth has just received their first opening order.

Peter Salamone, President of Green Earth Technology Solutions, states, "Servicing the departments in our own back yard has been a privilege. We look forward to working with these brave men and women in their daily battle to save lives and property. Our rollout is going very well and we expect that FireIce will be used by 10 departments over the next 90 days."

Successful testing resulting in additional positive results has also been conducted by Long Island's 'Fireworks by Grucci', America's premier Pyrotechnic Entertainment firm, in the use of FireIce to aide in the protection of many of the sensitive structures 'Fireworks by Grucci' performs from around the world. "We are impressed by the results of the FireIce testing and have discovered many other uses for the powerful fire suppression capabilities it provides," states Phil Grucci, Vice President of Fireworks by Grucci, Inc.

"Green Earth has gained some great traction from the latest demos. The product has performed to the highest standards that the Fire Departments demand for the products they use to fight fires. We are excited the Northeast marketplace has begun to bear fruit," stated Joseph Ingarra, President, GelTech Solutions.
