Peab builds hotel to Choice in Gothenburg  

Peab has been contracted to build the Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg.
Home Properties is the client and the contract amounts to approximately
SEK 600 million.
The contract consists of a complete rebuild and expansion of the
historic Central Post Office Building at Drottningtorget in central
Gothenburg. Work has commenced and completion is expected in January
2012.
The building's total area is about 37 000 square meters, including the
current portion of approximately 26 000 sq adapted to today's
engineering requirements while preserving cultural and historical
interests. The extension consists of a 14 floors high house body of
approximately 11 000 sqm.
Overall, the Clarion Hotel Post will contain about 500 hotel rooms, a
conference center for 1,000 people and a number of smaller conference
rooms, restaurants, bars and beauty spa facility.
