We are deeply sorry to announce that Jørgen Bjergskov Nielsen, a long-standing
employee-elected Group representative on the Board of Directors of NKT Holding
A/S, has died.
Besides his work as an electrician in NKT Cables and as a member of the Board
of Directors of NKT Holding A/S and NKT Cables A/S Jørgen Bjergskov Nielsen was
a shop steward for 12 electricians, joint shop steward for approx. 275
LO-organized colleagues and as chairman of NKT Cables' European Works Councils.
The vacant position on the Board of Directors will be filled by Jan Erik
Jensen, Nilfisk-Advance,Facilities Management Assistant, who was elected as an
alternate at the last ordinary election of employee representatives and
alternates to the Board of NKT Holding A/S on 18 March 2010.
