"Through the years, City National has built an exceptionally talented and deep investment team," said Richard Gershen, executive vice president of the company's Wealth Management Services Division.  "For a number of years, these five new directors have been instrumental in the development and performance of our highly successful equity and fixed-income investment strategies. They are proven market veterans who have earned their promotions and enhanced responsibilities.  Each one has consistently demonstrated the leadership, teamwork and technical expertise needed to continue the strong performance of our wealth management portfolios."

Miller, with more than 15 years of experience, has built his reputation as co-manager of CNAM's successful MAP strategy. He manages CNAM's Corporate Bond Fund and Multi Asset Fund, and he co-manages the Limited Maturity Fixed-Income Fund for the CNI Charter Funds. Before joining City National in 2001, Miller managed more than $1 billion of fixed-income assets at Fiduciary Trust International of California.  He also brings investment management experience from PIMCO.  Miller is a CFA charterholder and received his degree in finance from California State University at Fullerton.
