ReachLocal Expands Into Five New Markets

A Leading Provider of Online Advertising Products and Services to SMBs Adds Offices in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom and Australia, Bringing Its Global Office Count to Forty-One

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., June 14, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ReachLocal, Inc. (Nasdaq:RLOC), a local online marketing company, today announced that it has expanded its network of locally-based Internet Marketing Consultants (IMCs) into five new markets by opening additional offices in North America, the United Kingdom and Australia.

ReachLocal continued its expansion into North America with the staffing of new offices in Indianapolis, Raleigh and Vancouver, Canada. New offices in Manchester, England and Brisbane, Australia increase ReachLocal's ability to serve these important international markets.

"Small- and medium-size businesses in our new markets understand the value of connecting to their customers online, yet they are faced with an ever growing number of choices and ever changing technology that makes doing so increasingly complicated and difficult," said Zorik Gordon, Chief Executive Officer of ReachLocal. "With ReachLocal's comprehensive technology platform and growing network of IMCs, we can now deliver these markets an effective and efficient solution to help those businesses acquire, maintain and retain their customers."

ReachLocal entered the Australian market in December 2006. Now with three offices in the region, ReachLocal offers its ReachSearch™ and ReachDisplay™ products to local businesses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Steven Power, Chief Executive Officer of ReachLocal Australia added, "Australian businesses are drawn to ReachLocal's solutions, which are designed to deliver calls, rather than clicks. Small- and medium-sized businesses have no time to decipher how to attract customers online, and ReachLocal's IMCs are there to help them every step of the way."

On the heels of ReachLocal's second anniversary in England with its London office, John Mazur, ReachLocal's Managing Director for Europe, said, "The new Manchester office demonstrates our commitment to assisting local British companies in increasing their businesses and meeting their business goals."

ReachLocal offers products that are tailored specifically to the needs and budgets of local businesses, while optimizing and tracking the ROI of each campaign. ReachSearch™ delivers local advertisers' marketing messages through ads across many search engines including Google, Yahoo and Bing (MSN). ReachDisplay™ allows local businesses to reach customers through display advertising in numerous major online publishers, and ReachLocal Xchange seamlessly connects Internet media publishers and solutions providers with the largely untapped local advertising market.
