Trainer Communications Wins Bulldog Award for Best PR Campaign Under $100K

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) -  Trainer Communications, the premier provider of integrated marketing and high-tech public relations services that create global market leaders, today announced that the agency has won the Bulldog Award for its execution on a new product launch for Data Robotics, one of two Bulldog awards Trainer won this month. Data Robotics, a leading data storage provider, looked to Trainer Communications to execute the launch of their new product, DroboPro, in the ultra competitive SMB market where they were an unknown player. The Bulldog Award is particularly prestigious by nature as it is judged exclusively by working journalists and bloggers.

"We are extremely honored to have our work recognized in this way. This award is judged by the people who are the most critical of our work and for whom we have the most respect -- journalists," said Susan Thomas, CEO of Trainer Communications. "We believe that the Bulldog Award symbolizes the quality of work we provide to all of our clients on a daily basis."

In a three week period, the Trainer Communications team conceived and executed a public relations campaign that normally takes two months. The campaign involved an all day messaging session with Data Robotics executives, an in-person bi-costal press and analyst tour and culminated in the product's announcement at the storage industry's largest trade show, Storage Network World 2009.

The award-winning results included:

  • More than 50 stories in respected publication such as PCWorld, ComputerWorld and eWeek
  • YouTube video demonstrating the product made by a key storage analyst/blogger
  • Exceeded 50 percent of the company's quarterly sales quota in the first month of the launch
  • A 10 fold increase in normal website traffic and inbound call volume

Susan Thomas, CEO of Trainer Communications, will be accepting the award in New York at a luncheon honoring the 2010 Bulldog Award winners.
