HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. Announces Appointment of Pauline Morley as Head of Miscellaneous Professional Liability


HOUSTON, June 17, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HCC) announced today that Pauline R. Morley has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Professional Liability at its Professional Indemnity Agency ("PIA") subsidiary. In this capacity, Ms. Morley will be responsible for the management of PIA's Miscellaneous Professional Liability Division.

Prior to joining PIA, Ms. Morley was in charge of the Miscellaneous Professional Liability Product line at Travelers Bond and Financial Products. She began her insurance career at Western World Insurance Group in 1987 where she ultimately managed all professional liability lines as Vice President of Marketing and Underwriting for Tudor Professional and held group wide marketing responsibilities.

Ms. Morley currently sits on the Executive Committee of the PLUS Foundation Board as Secretary/Treasurer and previously sat on the PLUS Board of Trustees for six years.
