Referring to the news published on 16th June this year on BNS web site, the JSC “Liepājas metalurgs” Chairman of the Board Mr.V.Terentjevs informs, that the idea is to implement long-cherished idea to build a tennis center, not only for the Liepaja fans of this sport, but also for its guests. The Tennis Centre is currently under the final stage of project preparation. Given the current economic situation and ongoing plant modernization, the cost of the tennis center construction is not intended to be covered only by the funds of JSC “Liepājas metalurgs”. Since this idea is a charity project, the possibility of its implementation includes involvement of the city and county municipalities, the Latvian Tennis Federation and some other interested enterprises that would be willing to help fulfill the construction of the Tennis Centre.
