Empire Adds Three Feature Films to Its Development Schedule


WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., June 25, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Empire Film Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EFGU) has begun scouting locations for several film projects that it has in pre-production. The Company plans to produce several feature length motion pictures and television projects over the next three years in Michigan. The State is currently offering a 42 percent tax credit incentive for projects that film in Michigan.

The Company is in negotiations with Tri-Vision Pictures and Unity Studios to co-produce the projects in Michigan. Tri-Vision Pictures, headed by Alexander Tabrizi, has produced several feature films including "The Take," starring John Leguizamo, Tyrese Gibson and Rosie Perez released by Sony Pictures and "Christmas In Wonderland," starring Patrick Swayze, Carmen Electra and Chris Kattan. Unity Studios of Michigan has developed 50,000 square feet of space for film and entertainment production including two sound stages, productions offices and production support and post production suites in Detroit.  Unity Studios is operated by Jimmy Lifton, who has owned an internationally distributed record label, produced 13 feature films, and is principal of one of the largest independent post-production audio studios in Los Angeles, Oracle Post. Some of the most famous and familiar TV and film industry giants use Oracle Post including Fox, HBO, NBC, ABC, Disney, Nickelodeon, Paramount, Lionsgate, Universal, DreamWorks, Warner Brothers, VH1 and MTV.
