City National Bank Hires Three Comerica Bankers for its Private Clients Services Group in Orange County


IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 3, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank announced today it had hired banking and investment management veterans Glenn Hamburger, Julia L. Stannard and Troy Franzen for its Private Client Services Group in Orange County. Hamburger will serve as Senior Vice President and as a Team Leader in Private Client Services.    Stannard joins the team as Vice President and a Senior Private Banker and Franzen will serve as Vice President and Senior Private Client Advisor.

In their new capacity, the three will oversee new client development and service to the bank's high-net-worth clients in Orange County. These services include tailored investment management, trust, credit and banking services.

Hamburger, Stannard and Franzen, who previously worked at Comerica Bank's Wealth Management Group in Orange County, report to Carla Furuno, Senior Vice President and Manager of City National Bank's Southern Region Private Client Services Division. Michael Pagano is executive vice president and manager of City National's Private Client Services Division.

Hamburger has nearly 20 years of private banking and wealth management experience, and most recently served as group manager for Comerica Bank's Wealth Management Group, where he was responsible for three private banking offices. Before joining Comerica, he was a banking manager at Union Bank. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Masters of Business Administration from California State University at Long Beach. He is active in various charities, including March of Dimes and Junior Achievement.

Stannard has more than 20 years of private banking experience and most recently served as a private banker for Comerica Bank's Wealth Management Group. Previously, she was a portfolio manager at Imperial Bank in San Francisco. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from California State University at Fullerton. She is active in various charitable organizations.

Franzen has nearly 20 years of experience in private banking, most recently at Comerica, where he was a vice president and wealth advisor. He previously served as a financial advisor with Signature Estate & Investment Advisors in Beverly Hills and Irvine. He is a graduate of California State University at Northridge. He is active in various charities, including the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, along with Junior Achievement.
