Wacker Neuson adjusts forecast for fiscal 2010 upwards
(Munich, August 9, 2010) Bolstered by positive results for the first half
of fiscal 2010, the Wacker Neuson Group has revised its forecast for the
entire year upwards. A healthy order book for compact equipment will have a
positive effect on sales and earnings over the latter half of the year.
If the market continues its current positive trend, the Executive Board
predicts that revenue in 2010 will grow at least 10 percent faster than
last year (original forecast: at least 5 percent growth). The Board also
expects an EBITDA margin (profit before interest, tax, depreciation and
amortization as a percentage of total revenue) of at least 9 percent
(original forecast: return to the profit zone at operative level). In 2009,
the Group generated revenue of EUR 597.0 million, with an EBITDA margin of
4.6 percent.
