DM Products Engages Service of "Portia Entertainment Group"


WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DM Products, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DMPD) (www.dmproducts.biz), announced today it has retained Portia Entertainment Group LLC, headed up by Deborah Wagnon, Esq. to assist in the procurement of celebrity endorsements for its new fragrance division.

Deborah earned her Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School, a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Goddard College and was a summa cum laude graduate of Georgia Tech Management School. She served as General Counsel of Landmark Entertainment Group in Hollywood with worldwide projects in music, theater, theme parks, film, and television. Deborah was head partner for the Nashville office of entertainment firm, John Mason Partners Ltd. and a partner in the international 800-lawyer firm of Greenberg Traurig entertainment practice, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Deborah was later invited to join the cutting edge entertainment law firm Miller Mason LLP, in Century City's Fox Plaza in Los Angeles, bringing her exceptional expertise and contacts to the boutique Hollywood firm's clients. In November 2009, Deborah took over her CEO duties at Portia Entertainment Group with its growing roster of international clients in the areas of entertainment, film, music, television and book publishing.

Deborah currently represents the interests of The Rick Nelson Company for all entertainment transactions, Piper Cub Film Productions, Barcelona-based Music Intelligence Solutions, Inc. d/b/a uPlaya.com, acclaimed Cuban classical guitarist Ernesto Tamayo, Columbian pop artist Anasol, Hungarian-rock group Azlan, and an extraordinary array of global artists, writers, producers and filmmakers.  Deborah has worked with leading entertainment industry recording artists, producers, screenwriters, authors, filmmakers, and songwriter/composers, including artists such as Gloria Estefan, Olivia Newton-John and Reba McEntire.   Deborah is a published author with three books released and was one of a select group of U.S. women attorneys selected to contribute to the 2009 Kaplan Publishing book Reaching The Bar edited by Robin Sax. She served two terms in Los Angeles on the Tennessee Film, Music and Entertainment Commission Advisory Committee.  A seasoned speaker, Deborah has spoken at the Legal Strategies Institutes in Los Angeles and New York City and at the joint Intellectual Property and Science & Technology Committees event at the ABA's Annual Meeting.  Deborah is a member of Paris-based International Association of Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL), and a published author for the IAEL Quarterly and speaker for the documentary panel of the Hollywood Film Festival.
