WSFS Named #1 to the "Top Workplaces" List for 2nd Year


WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced it was again ranked #1 on The News Journal's Top Workplaces 2010 list.

WSFS Bank has been recognized as #1 for two consecutive years and made the Top Workplaces list five years in a row. This is The News Journal's eleventh year of analyzing Delaware's business community in its "Top Workplaces" supplement. 90 Delaware companies participated in the program.

WSFS was ranked 1st overall out of 17 in the large company category and was singled out for a special leadership award. The 17 participating large companies (more than 400 employees) were judged in the categories of direction, execution, career, conditions, managers, and pay & benefits based on employee surveys.
