Suominen Flexible Packaging Ltd., a part of the Suominen Corporation Group, will
start employee negotiations in Finland on 13 September 2010. A negotiation
proposal has been given today and the negotiations will concern the entire
personnel of Suominen Flexible Packaging Ltd. and the employees of Suominen
Corporation in Tampere. Possible headcount reduction will be approximately 120
people. Possible termination of employee contracts will take place between
October 2010 and summer 2011, after concluding the employee negotiations.

The negotiations concern possible termination of production at the Nastola plant
and production transfers to the other plants of Suominen Flexibles. In addition,
the negotiations concern restructuring of the operations at the Tampere plant
and production transfers to the plants in Poland and Ikaalinen in Finland. As a
result of the above mentioned measures, the tasks of the white-collar employees
of Tampere and Nastola are planned to be reorganised. The measures are made to
secure the long-term competitiveness of Flexibles' operations.
